I'm personally a believer in the null-framework philosophy (as in, I don't use any framework whatsoever). I've worked with a great number of hyper, mega, uber, fat, slim, skinny, mini, micro and nano frameworks, and in the end, I disliked the lot. There are *always* decisions taken from you, in ways that make you later fight the code that's supposed to make things easier.

I find it actually easier to write the code I need, when I need it, just how I need it.
